After spending several months looking for a company that counterweight me the 2.5 flywheel, I decided to adapt the gta flywheel to the GTV6.
The first thing I did was prolong the holes that hold the trigger wheel to put it in the other side of the disc.
Then I designed a "sandwich"...
I'm working in adapt this engine on my car.
Althought everyone knows what we should do for adapt this engine, I preferred to modify the auxiliary components of the car and not change parts as the thermostat, the upper engine support, etc.
Right now, my main problem is the flywheel.
I was looking for pieces to make a gtam replica engine for a friend's gt2000, but prices are really high, next to prohibitive, like 13000 euros only for a head.
So, we were discussing about a "crazy" transplant, using a V6 coming from a 147 gta.
I'm wondering if anyone tried this...
