Good evening everyone,
A couple days ago my passenger seat belt receiver gave up the ghost. One click and the plastic fell apart.
I see classic Alfa has some available but they are a completely different style from whats on my car.
Does anyone have a period correct 1974 spider passenger sear...
Hello all! I have spent some time searching the BB for info on replacing lost keys, and Ive found some leads but not exactly everything I am trying to find.
I only have ignition keys for my car, non original (PO put in a new barrel set). I have no key for the glove box, trunk, or doors.
Hey guys, I just posted an introduction post a few days ago. I had planned on starting a thread this week on my new (to me) car and posting some pictures of its current state and my plan of action to clean it up a bit. I bought a 1[974 Silver Alfa Spider that I found here on the BB classifieds...
This GTV I saw for sale at a show has a correct serial number for a 1974 US version GTV but the engine number I could not figure out.
I'm sure on here there are a few people who can?
The original looking engine number is 01500*11480 (could also be 04500*11480). Thanks!
'74 spider, 100K miles, SPICA fueled 2000 that blows smoke and leaks oil. It's a tired motor with good spark. Overall it runs well.
Always starts on the second or 3rd crank, never misses a beat, sans the occasional backfire. I put about 80 miles on it over the weekend, had zero issues...
Perfect starter Alfa. First off I will let you know it has a salvage title due to a rear end accident in the 90's but drives wonderfully and as straight as an arrow. Salvage title makes it a great deal because it means though it will never be a show car, there is nothing wrong with it and is...
From a rear ended car. It's all there including mounting bracket and a new Cloisonne badge. Has the no longer available amber lenses.
$850 Centerline has the repo kit for $2240 plus tax !!
Walnut Creek, Ca
Very reluctantly selling my set of 1974 Spider bumpers and lights, complete with the necessary "K" piece.
$750.00 shipping in the lower 48 states.
Rear is excellent or better, front steel pieces need some TLC as some one apparently fitted diving lights to the top side at one time.
I'm looking to get a 1972-74 GTV Driver Side Taillight Assembly or a good housing.
If you have one or if you know someone who does please call me at 805-241-0250 or send me a DM of how much it is, with shipping to Southern California?
If I were to remove all wiring and wanted to reinstall removing the interlock and it's harness, how would one do it?
I know all about the recall modification bypass, but I want to totally get rid of it. I have a new ignition switch w/o #16 terminal as well. Does someone follow the '72 diagram...
Two '74 Spiders in need of restoration, or could be bought an used for parts. Always garaged. Belonged to elderly uncle who just didn't get around to it. Haven't run in 10+ years but are completely intact.
In Costa Mesa CA. Come see/buy on Sat, Nov 8, noon-4 pm or email me.
I own a Giulia Gt Junior from 1972 and it has its original seats, but no headrests.
I am planning on using this car everyday, if some idiot crash into me, I will be in some trouble.
What I am looking for is seats from the 2000 GTV, or any cars from 1974 to 1977. If someone knows where I...
With a certain degree of shame, mixed with a renewed enthusiasm, I present our Barn Alfa. 1974 GTV, 66,000 original miles. Parked by the previous owner since 1988, made it over to our barn 8 years ago. It was to be a father-son project with my then 15 year-old. He lost enthusiasm quickly, so...
Sold ... I sold my Alfa to a nice gentleman, for $3,250 yesterday, August 24th, 2013.
In 2006 or so, when I had lots of cash, I bought a red 1974 Alfa Romeo Spider from someone in Sacramento. The gentleman had, as I recall, just had the paint and top and seats redone ... maybe the engine too...
Been working on a 1974 GTV that's been sitting for ten years. Just wondering if anyone has an wisdom to share about things that should be done to the Spica system before attempting to start the car?
I have decided to sell my 1974 Spider. We participated in this years Targa California and the car performed flawlessly. Unfortunately, I can not say the same for the driver. Headed back to Paso Robles, the rain began to fall. One of the great things about the Spider is that the aerodynamics push...
I had the engine rebuilt a couple of years ago, and there are now two small oil leaks from the head gasket down the side of the block #1 by the rear end of the exhaust headers and #2 at the front of the engine on the passenger side above the water pump. Not much of a leak, but they are...
