Rosso Red
1965 Giulia Sprint Gt, VIN 611438
Build date Febuary 1st 1965

Found the Alfa sitting in a farmers field 20+ years ago and after bugging him for a few months I was able to talk him in to selling it to me. The Alfa was in need of a full restoration but had very little rust. After 17 years I was able to actually start on the restoration. I did a nut and bolt bare metal restoration with a few upgrades along the way. I installed a 2.0ltr in it and also retained the original 1.6ltr engine. I installed Alfaholics blue road/track suspension kit with a 29mm anti roll bar, urethane bushings and koni adjustable shocks. 7x15 rims and 195/55/15 BF Goodrich G force tires. Alfaholics alloy flywheel and alloy pressure plate with competition clutch. Also installed Alfaholics high torque mini starter.
1965 Alfa Romeo Giulia sprint gt (Rosso Red)

2.0ltr using the original oil pump, oil pan, cam cover, exhaust manifolds and intake manifold and carbs from the original engine. I installed a custom crankcase vent system and electronic ignition instead of points. The distributor is from the original engine as well as the radiator with an electric fan kit from Centerline. The flywheel, pressure plate and clutch are all alloy performance upgrades from Alfaholics. The starter is Alfaholics high torque mini starter that works perfectly with the alloy flywheel. The generator I swapped out for a bosch 140 amp alternator with external regulator.
The transmission is the original unit and needed no work at all. It up shifts and down shifts perfectly with no complaints what so ever.
The interior consists of the original seats, but recovered in red leatherette with black piping instead of the grey they originally were and what the COA has listed. The carpet was done in charcoal with red piping. The dash pad and rear parcel shelf I stripped and recovered with new foam and black pebble grain vinyl that matches the door panels. While the dash was out I removed all of the gauges so I could disassemble them and buff the glass. I installed a new headliner while the glass was out. I then installed all new body weather stripping and seals. Finally I installed a complete set of Alfa floor mats from Centerline in black with the Alfa logo.
No exterior modifications other than not installing the front bumper
still have it though and it is the original one piece and in very nice condition. I just like the look without it.
Accelerator pedal and seat belts
Alfaholics Blue track day suspension kit with 29mm anti roll bar and urethane bushings front and rear. Koni adjustable competition shocks keep the car extremely flat through the corners along with providing a very comfortable ride while just cruising around. The Dunlop brakes were retained although the drivers side reverse thread wheel studs where swapped out.
Wheel and Tire
7x15 Rota rims with a 30mm offset. Tires are BF Goodrich G Force 195/55 zr15 directional radials. The Rota rims have the hyper black spokes that let the brake caliper show through nicely. The factory steel wheels I stripped and refinished in silver and then installed new 165/15 tires on them and polished the hub caps before putting them away in storage.
