Bought this car in South Africa on 16 April 2014. The car was described as having a few minor faults and a cut drivers seat fabric. It finally arrived in the UK on 24 May 2016.
The car has been resprayed red from its original cream colour.
Working through the car the 1300 engine has been replaced with a 1600 unit.
Wiring loom butchered
Switches wired to anywhere
non standard wiper motor, alternator and all gaskets permanently in place with araldite (or concrete)
Heater matrix clogged with dirt and dust
Fan motor well and truly seized
Carburettor mounts shot
Radiator needs repairing
Seats are in a very poor state of repair
Headlining is in such a condition I dare not touch it.
Am I disappointed NOT AT ALL I love him and he is christened FANG as are all my cars.
With many thanks to my BFF Leo Fang is now MOT'd, repairs underway and today I have just received my new registration number and log book.

Generally good state of repair but will have to investigate under the paint at some stage
