2000 Touring Roadster
Bought on ebay as a derelict. No significant history known before that.
1959 Alfa Romeo 2000 Touring Roadster (Grigio biacca)
mid-80's FNM 2300 engine, a direct descendant of the original 2000 "cast iron" engine. The 2300 offers 149 HP, as compared to the original 120 HP. Currently fitted with original FNM manifold and two 40DCOM carbs. About to be converted to OKP/Conrero manifold which is flow-matched to the head and fitted to two 45 DCOE 9 carbs. Two RJR cams awaiting installation at the same time.
Original red vinyl replaced by Scottish leather. Ooooohhh, baby, baby.
Completely restored, from the raw atoms up. Exterior as original as I could do.
Woody's radio faux-period look with a digital inside. Wired for either IPod direct or Bluetooth, all out of sight. Sound ordnance subwoofer, JL speakers.
Stock suspension, but with Koni reds. Much improvement.
Wheel and Tire
Dayton 16" X 6" wire wheels with Pirelli P4 all season tires.
