The previous owner (the first) bought it for a little over $7,000 in 1976 ($38,000 in today's money), and drove it for around 2 years, which is figured because of the 1978 inspection sticker still on the windshield, and then parked it for 40 years. It has sat under numerous tarps and hasn't been moved around much. The owner's wife (the owner) I think was around 90 years old, implying they bought it in their 50's. It currently has only 38,800 miles in it, it's 100% original, running, and has been a nice little project so far; with my saloon being my current parts car. The car also had some of it's history in the trunk, along with some manuals, dealer locations, and some NOS parts, which are all still good, so they are going on the car.
