Robert,

I bought the retro fit window lift from Mr. Fiat. I am doing the drivers side first. Did you have any issues with the window not going down far enough? I am 1/2 inch to high when the window is all the way down. It hits the bottom bump stop. The bracket is also all the way down to where it's almost touching the door bottom. It can't go down any more.

It appears to go up enough. Just not down. Any help/ideas would be appreciated.

Hi Robert,

Sorry to bother you, but I noticed in some of the pics of your Quad, you don't have the front spoiler attached yet. If it wouldn't be too much trouble, would you be able to take some pics of the front end? The brackets that come down on the fenders that the bumper attaches to and the bumper shock mounts (the parts and scoop in front of the radiator). Mine have been skewed off to the side a bit, and I'd like to show the body shop what everything should look like. They probably don't need it, but I'd like to be able to show them.

Hello. Jim from the alfa library suggessted I contact you in reguards to a forward half of the crank pulley that drives the ac belt on a 90 spider. It is missing on my car, but the crank part is fine. I would also like to find shims if possible. Any chance you might know where I could find one? Thanks Jerry

Robert,
You asked about a top assembly recently. I have an excellent frame without top, and a NEW tan Electron Top still in the box. It has a black interior fabric.
I was going to change the top in my '91 from black to tan (have tan interior), but my wife decided she liked the black one better - and it is a very low mileage show car, so I've decided to keep it all original.
Let me know via PM if you have interest, and I can get pix of the frame, etc.

You sure are. There is noting in the world like the sound of a "Beast" taking off in full after burner. I wish I could hear it one more time, this time with a recorder. I am proud to have been involved with it operationally speaking. I will try to make a photo of the desk model and email it to you.

Hi Robert,
Dad has been gone for a few years now. He left McDonnell Douglas in the summer of 1965 to take a civil service job at Chanute AFB, IL. We had been stationed there until we left in '57 for McCord AFB, WA. He was a jet engine instructor at Chanute until his retirement in '73. We were always proud to have been involved with the F4. It was such an amazing machine-the genesis aircraft for todays' modern fighters. But, I'm preaching to the choir, aren't I.

My Father was a final inspector for McDonnell Douglas in St. Louis in the mid sixties. Maybe you were involved with some off his line, eh?
