May I apologise for contacting you directly without an introduction.
I have been in dialogue with Chuck & he has suggested that I contact you for additional information & clarification.
I am based in Cheshire, England; currently I am restoring a 1969 1750 Spider Veloce RHD; I am attempting to get the rear valance/skirt correct.
I have purchased (amongst a great number of other parts!) from ClassicAlfa UK the following panels;
What I am trying to achieve is creating a continuous ‘lip’ as clearly seen on the bottom edge of the central valance panel but the other two panels don’t have it.
From limited pictures I have managed to get from various sources the lip appears to bleed into the two panels behind the wheel but what I am unclear about is where and how it terminates.
Are you able to offer any advice/opinion or photos of work you have done on your (excellent & inspiring) car?
Once again my apologies and thanks in anticipation of your reply
Hey Stan - no worries! I definitely appreciate the feedback. Its one of those things I am insisting that the shop fix rather than myself. I've had a hard time with these people, alleged to be among the best in Virginia at restoring classic European autos. Their attention to detail, quite frankly, sucks.
I will readdress the thread, and ask further questions, if it comes back unresolved.
Cheers - Jody
