Hello friend, I was wondering if you could help me out with locating a 3.2l engine for my 75. I'm in ontario canada and there isn't much luck here for that. Also would really appreciate if you could give me a list of modifications I would have to do to convert the 75. Thank you kindly

I went with the (heavy) Alfa Sei (Six) sedan differential from the (very scarce) automatic sedan (longer final drive ratio...) That cast iron piece with it's long torque tube fits in there just like a transaxle and it hangs from the stock single rear top mount in the chassis (where the transaxle used to hang...) Side shafts fit. Lots of things become a direct fit at that point. Needs a custom 24" drive-shaft with the BMW V8 M5 front GIUBO and the CV that we used at the rear...

Hey JJ, its been a while. Bob here from melb. i bought the 3.2 w ITBs from dawie through you a few years back. if you remember.

Any how, im currently engineering myself into a big headache. Ive opted to convert to a front mounted gearbox as the power i want to put
through the old one would serious eat it alive. so t56 6 spd it is. I was just wondering what you used/did for the diff in your 75/milano?

any suggestions?

Hello,
I looking to install a 2001 916 3.0 24V engine on a 1982 GTV6. The engine still on a crate from Fiat/Alfa.
I would need the electronics, intake manifold and exhaust manifold and who knows what else to make it run properly. Any ideas or comments?

Hi,

I have a 1994LS with automatic that currently engine can't start. But the transmission only has less than 20,000 miles - rebuilt by Eriksson Industrial.
The transmission is like working great.

I don't have time to debug what is wrong, and my wife is forcing me to sell soon.
I don't want to donate and go to Junkyard...

I tried to contact you earlier about this issue, but I guess I got lost in the mix.

I have recently made a purchase of some of your cams for the 155 V6 from Zavier. Could you give me any more info what these cams were designed to do? Do I lose all low end torque?

I was wondering if you could point me to what else I would need to do to set up for your cams that you sold him. I have an Autodelta chip currently, a cat-back, custom headers, and soon to be de-cat exhaust. Pipercross Venom CDA. The car also has a FSE PBV in place of the fuel pressure valve. Any other info you need? Does fuel pressure need to be increased for these cams? Tougher valve springs? Etc...

Also, I have to say thank you for working on a car that does not get a lot of aftermarket attention. Much appreciated.

This may seem like a silly question, I have owned 164s (bought Paul's if you recall) as well as spiders with the V-6 conversion.

Currently my spider conversion has the ZF 5 speed with dog-leg. **** fine transmission.

Is there that much advantage to having the Alfa 6 speed and would it work on a RWD car??

Hi JJ,

I was sent to you by Giuseppe and Giuseppe JR out of Alfa Import Center. I am looking to longitudinally mid-mount my 3.0L 24V into a custom chassis. Are you aware of any transaxles that mate well to the 24V? Perhaps some Porsche or Audi ones?

I have built a Bertone with a 75 ts chassi and a 12v v6.

Im using the 164 super 24v engine and will put in these cams
Catcam 1030912 Trottle bodies and homebuilt headers.
So the question to you is.
Wats next for me enginewise?
Its fairly simple to find a 156 2,5 24 v in SWE and is that engine the more modern one with the newer oilpump?
Can i just take a 2,5:er and fit 3,5 cyl/pistons to it or should you have used my fixed 3,0 machine and fitted 3,5 cyl/pistons to it?

That is if i want more than i will get with the first setup

Are the 2,5 heads the same as the 3,0?

Any ideas will be very welcome.
Even if you have any thoughts on Header dimensions.

Hi there!
My name is Tony and i am in a middle of a project with my 75 turbo. I have read all your posts regarding your 3.7 L project and would like to ask you about the steering rack. I want to change ratio to 2/2,1/2,2:1 end to end. I read this in one of your posts:
"Any way, because we are running those FAST 2.0/2.1/2.2:1 turns lock-to-lock racks (based on modified Alfetta manual housings), we had to modify the input-shaft universal and housing on Jes' car to the finer splines of the Alfetta-type input-shaft (previously we did this by cutting and welding it on), because he had the newer Milano-type input-shafts with coarser splines (well, Jes did any way.)"
Would you please give me info how the manual rack has been transformed to a faster one? Any ideas would be very helpful and I will highly appreciate your help on this matter. Thanks in advance, hope I am not bothering with this message.
