    Hello Dave,

No worries. You don't owe me a thing. In fact, I haven't drug out the crankshaft yet. You're still welcome to it if something doesn't work out for you. You can call me at 775 230 6489, and my regular email is [email protected] Northern Nevada is not very far from Arizona, so if you get the urge, come on up. I've always got a spare bed somewhere.

:)G'day Jay thanks for your reply re the 102 crankshaft. It gives us a 2nd. chance if Don P_s crank fails to clean up. I am new at this forum as Wazza GTV MK1 usually participates on our behalf We are a group of 4 surfing mates who have Alfas. Together we purchased this spider as a non goer with traditional rust from an elderly man who had stored it under his house for 30 + years. we are well under way with the body having stripped all paint & bondo to replace rust with welded steel. our panel beater works every friday on the spider and is an excellent tradesman. he has cut off the front, repaired it and rewelded it on, beautiful job on a beautiful front.
i think you own the red 102 with chrome wires and have 3 others to be restored. one is enough for now however we will ask around for a home for the others.
. I will keep the forum posted on our progress. yes we were asking re tailshaft details some time ago. Merry Christmas.
