Wheel lug question

2 Attachment(s)
So my Spider came with a set of wheels and spacers. Unfortunately they cut the original studs. The spacers don't bother me, but I acquired a set of original 14" FPS 5 star wheels which I liked better. The problem is there is not enough stud that I feel comfortable to drive around with. So I need to re stud the spacers and get a proper set of lug nuts.

Anyone have the correct size and if possible a picture of the lug nuts to use?

How many turns of engagement are you getting with the nuts you have ? Industry standard is 6 turns.

Use ET lug nuts to gain some tread engagement. You will have to drill your wheel seat with a 6mm or 15/64 bit to make clearance fort the extented portion of the shank.

I was only getting 5 or 6 in the back. I bought new studs from Classic Alfa and just did the rears over the weekend with new black lugs from RockAuto. Feel much better and safer now. I finished cutting the old ones off and unhooked the top e brake and was able to slide the new ones into the e-brake hole and tap the new ones in place.
