2018 Stelvio Tech Question

Just took delivery and have two questions;
can you program the auto engine shutdown to stay running unless the button is pressed. ie the opposite of how its set up, i dont like it always shutting down unless I remember to push the button.
Is there any way for the side rear view mirrors to dip when in reverse so its easier to see the curb when parking.?
pinshaw likes this.

The start-stop feature must be disabled each time you turn on the car' there is no way to make this a permanent setting.

I have not seen any feature that dips the side view mirrors.

I just bought a Stelvio Ti Sport, and the auto engine shutdown feature is one quirk that annoys me. I understand the reason for it, but drivers should be able to change the setting once and be done with it. i certainly don't want the engine to shut down at a stoplight when I have the A/C running .

After a while the auto engine shut down becomes nearly unnoticeable.
If I am in heavy traffic then I turn it off.
The mirror dip feature was on my '03 BMW and I found that annoying so I would turn it off. My wife liked it.
Nearly 6 months of ownership and no serious issues. Just got a recall notice on the suspected water leak in the hatch and front door weatherstripping. Will set up a appointment to fix. We have not experienced a water leak issue so there is no hurry now that the rainy season is nearly over.
Cheers, Jon
