Alfa Cafe Racer*!! Purests open at your peril!! LOL

*Cafe Racer. Motorcycles converted by young Brits in the 60s, to zip about between their favorite pubs!! These bikes were characterized by minimalist bodywork with distinctive ergonomics.

As I was rattling about craigslist when I stumbled across a what looks like a "back 2 the future, Hollywood stunt car builders", cafe racer made from an S2 Alfa!!

I'd never permanently modify an Alfa (unless I found one that a tree took out its windshield frame!!) but most of this could be done with some graphic painting and a boot-cover borrowed from a '64 Thunderbird Sports Roadster!! Kind of a Hoot!! LOL

Enjoy!!

Whoever did that should be arrested for criminal damage.

I can see it if I squint, a good idea with 2/10 execution... For $7500!

The Good: The GTO-style front nose intakes, the driver's cowl is neat if not poorly done, using the passenger footwell for helmet storage is cool.

The Bad: Possibly everything else, hope that cooler on the left side works.

If he was chopping off the windshield he should have put an acrylic/lexan cowl like those SCCA EP race cars, maybe then he could have pulled off the look.

She's... Quite something. Thanks for posting!

I saw a dog's head get squished by a tire once. That doesn't mean I want to see it again!

At least it's an "Alfa Romero" and not a real Alfa.
