Need help finding someone to look at my Spider

Hi everyone,

I have a '74 Spider with Dellorto carbs. I need someone in the Blacksburg, Va area to help me tune my carbs. Anyone know of someone in this area? I have the car running, but I have zero knowledge about carbs and would like to have someone take a look that knows what they're doing.

Thanks,

Joe G.

There is a place near the NC Line I saw an ad on. I have a 67 Duetto with Dual Webers. I am in Troutville. How is your car running, rough, won't drop to idle...? Not sure on your model. I know:

It runs a little rough. The cam timing is good, but I have never set distributor timing or worked with carbs. Raleigh is a little far. Was hoping for someone in Roanoke or Blacksburg/Christiansburg.

Try Bimmer World in Pulaski or Dublin, not sure which town they address to. Just looked them up, phone is 540-639-9648. They are a BMW performance shop but they might know someone who can help

Carbs are simple with the proper manual.. Delortto might be tricky to find.

Local

The only local place I would trust would be Sports Car Clinic on Peters Creek. They do all of my work for my 86 300ZX.

Hey Joe G, my eldest son is a student at VT in Blacksburg. I have never seen an ALFA there although I did see a white Lamborghini Countach in the Kroger parking lot last year. Cheers.

My son graduated from VT and my daughter is there now. My son met the guy who owns the Lamborghini, and got to ride in it. He said it was loud. 🙂
