Restoring the interior

Hello I recently bought a 1980 Alfa Romeo spider and I have to redo the carpeting. I noticed that there is insulator and padding underneath the original carpet. How would I go about buying and replacing new materials for the installation of the new carpet ? Any suggestions would help a lot . Thank you.

When removing your old just padding and carpet, take care to preserve it as well as you can. Then if you decide to buy replacement materials in bulk, you can use your old pieces as a pattern.

Any of the popular European places have good quality carpet and many also have padding. I'm a big fan of classicalfa.com in Great Britain. They ship DHL and everything gets to me here in PA in 3 days.
