bosch fuel injector service

I would like to send my complete FI rail with the injectors to be cleaned and serviced. Anyone have any recommendations?

Greg Gordon at OK Injectors used to offer that service, but no longer.

In the past I've used Cruzin Performance with good results. https://www.cruzinperformance.com/

Eric, thanks for the reply. Do you know if they would service the whole assy?

If you mean 'service the whole fuel rail' I don't know. But such a service is basically just changing the fuel hoses. In fact that is fairly easy - but you need the correct size fuel hose. I've bought a few feet from IAP - should be a lifetime supply. I've also seen the correct fuel hose on a VW website. It is not a size you are likely to find at a local auto parts store. 1/4" is too small and 5/16" is too big. The correct size is 7.5mm ID. Centerline sells it by the foot: https://www.centerlinealfa.com/catalog/fuel-line-75-mm

The old fuel hose should be removed by using a soldering iron (translated as a 'welder' in the shop manual) to melt through the rubber hose. A sharp knife can nick the hose barbs which may lead to a leak. Cut the ends of the new hose square, remember to put the cup shaped washer on (called a 'bushing' in the shop manual) then push the hose on. (if you forget the cup washer then you have to ruin the hose to remove it...)
