69 1750 Spider U.S.
I was having issues with head lights (only one light and only bright), no front running lights and intermediate electrical cut out on the radio when brakes were applied.
I checked battery ground and cleaned it up. I check head light ground and cleaned and re-tightened. And did a general look around. Problems still present.
I took fuse box out and cleaned (it was a bit dirty): I have head lights back, but only brights. Running lights still out. Radio does not cut out as much but now when it does cut out (no longer tied to the operation of the brakes) I get a momentary engine cut out about 10 percent of the time. This happens at speed and even when I turn the radio off. I suspect a possible short in the wires going into the fuse box and will pull this apart this weekend to check. Reason I suspect this is because of the low beams not operating and I remember the right side of the fuse box (#10 side) being a bit warm when I was operating the lights trying to diagnose.
The radio is powered by fuse #1. I don't see any cracks in box or bad fuses.
Looking for thoughts that i can explore this weekend when i remove the fuse box and check the wires leading into it.
Ignition? Coil?
