Series one Duetto roof frame

Hi,

How is it possible to tell the difference between a series one Duetto Spider and later editions when it comes to the roof frame?

Trying to avoid making the wrong purchase and ending up with something that doesn't fit.

The seller isn't sure which series it is from hence the need to clarify how to check.

Any help appreciated as always.

Thanks

Mike

Top frame

If the seller is not sure it's probably not for a Roundtail
The Roundtail top has a longer arch at the windscreen.
The b pillar attaching holes are lower and use tension spring
The easiest way...Roundtail has a floating bow after the windscreen .
Photos show Roundtail in 1st 2 pix and Kammtail in last pix
Sorry about poor quality of pics. If you have a parts manual that would show more detail.
Cheers, Jon

Hi Jon,

Thank you for this, these are the pics I have been sent for the roof so it's hard for me to tell as not familiar at all?

Does this look like a kam rather than boat?

Thanks Mike
