The shape of those mats looks a little strange for the footwells on an S4. Are you sure they sent you the right mats?

The mats look great!

The only thing I did with my aftermarket mats is add the heel pad.

I purchased cheap mats from Canadian Tire, cut out the heel section, and had it sewn in by a shoe maker.

Here is the curling I was talking about. I think I am going to have to replace them after following this thread!

Good luck.

i am still trying to find someone to apply the patches to the floor mats.

the local tailor cannot do it.

i am thinking of bringing it to the guy who did my interior and top.

Just a thought - you might try a shoemaker (if there's still one around), because they have the heavy duty sewing machines required for that. Or, try a home carpeting shop (though odds are they send any edge binding or sewing out to some specialist).

Lambert,

Simple, Velcro! That way you can take it off when you clean the mats?

I bought a set of logo floormats from the ebay seller in Holland. They're ok. Not as heavy as the originals, but work and look good.

Kevin,

That is actually a great idea.

I am still going to try and find someone who can sew it on but if not I think I will go with the velcro route.

Thanks
