Electronic Ignition?

So what are the thoughts of converting to electronic ign and losing the ECU and other "stuff" getting older and older.. Vicks has a disty for $150. or there are the kits if the Disty is compatible? But for this price it seems logical to just do it!!

I think that your FI system gets its stobe pulses from your ignition system. You need to be sure that you can interface your new distributor to your FI.
I believe that the Vick distributor is an RML. They are solid distributors with a rather slow advance curve and they need a coil with a high primary resistance. The stock S3 coil is not compatible.
