Ok so the shipping is a bit pricey but I ordered mine at 6:27am yesterday and it is scheduled to arrive by end of day today! It will take me longer than that to install it. The (people moving) airlines should take an example from the freight lines.

I worked the airlines for 30 years, anyone who has will tell you the big difference is that boxes don't drink and they sit down and shut up unlike people.

Great deal, just ordered one $130.54 total USD. My friend who runs a company that makes prototypes for industries ranging from defense and aerospace to pool equipment manufacturers was going to build me one out of lexan. He said it would be several months since he was too busy currently so this makes for perfect timing.

Mine was waiting for me when I got home last night. Looks great and easy to install but wouldn't it be nice to see an alfa logo silkscreened onto the back? Hmmmm?

This thread has been great advertising for Classic Alfa. I received an email this morning indicating they have sold 10 in the last few days and are temporarily out of stock. They should have more in next week though.

It's a great addition to the car...greatly reduces the drafts in the cabin. So easy to install, took, using all existing bolts. You can still put top up and down - just fold the deflector into up position, raise the top, then fold it down out of the way. Pull it up when lowering the top, then either leave it up, or drop it down over the folded top. Simples ! You other half will thank you for adding this mod to the car, believe me. I only wish I got mine as cheaply as you lot are !

Well, just attempted to install that windscreen. Strange thing. The arm, attached to the lower bolt for the top frame, does not extend far back enough to get the screen past the seat headrest. The only other connection points in there are small studs holding the canvas fast to the inside edge of the car. Anyone got any ideas?

Yep, got the same email this morning. They should ship mine middle of next week they say. No biggie, the turn around time still seems faster than getting one from the states

Yeah, my shipping went up to 30GBP from 23 but not a big deal. The guy selling new ones on Ebay wants $274 plus $30 US shipping. I figure can't beat $40 shipped from the UK.

Did you bolt it to the lower M8 that holds the frame?

Are you sure you got the right side bracket and coming from below the frame?
If you see the attached photo it shows the bottom of the deflector rather low, way under the headrests, where your brackets kinda sit mid headrest..

It seems like your bracket is strait up. It should be almost at a 45 degree angle. Make sure the curved part is parallel to the floor. It should contour right over the metal.

Also it comes with 4 brackets. The strait ones are for the wheel wells and the ones that are bent all which ways are the correct ones to mount to the top frame lower bolt.
