Just a thought, I have always change the oil filter from the top. Who makes a smaller size filter so you can go through the bottom?

The one I just used (Hastings LF134) you can change from the bottom.

It is much more convenient.

I enjoyed your post. You reminded me of how much my husband loved his British Lady Friend as I referred to her. I often teased him that he should have gotten a mistress. Less trouble, less expense and more fun. He would just smile and say "anyone can get a mistress".

He loved his car. I loved him. It was all good.

Thank you for the good memory.

Today I spent the day with my daughter getting her VW GLI ready to sell. I parked the Spider on the lawn. Did not want to park it in the street. To busy of a street.
The GLI is a 2007 and is a rocket ship.

Still here?

Just received a gift of a '72 Spider Veloce. Shipped to Hawaii all the way from Florida. Anyway, just wanted to know if this thread is still active. I have a thousand questions, as this is my first Alfa.

Only a thousand questions? My experience with the AlfaBB has been nothing less than +1. Many many people available here to help.

From the start, gifts are normally a good thing, is your new spider running? and welcome aboard

Was an active member, have been off the radar for awhile. Purchased my 75 in 2010 and started to do work, but then met my wife and step kids and the car has been in the garage. She runs, but the master brake cylinder had gone bad, so she didn't stop. Makes for scary driving. My Escape had transmission issues, so while it was in the shop for a couple weeks getting that worked out, I finally replaced the cylinder (had purchased it a couple years ago from Centerline). So for the last couple weeks I have been driving her! She is happy her legs are getting stretched. Got the Escape back, and it is sitting in the driveway, because Bella is so fun to drive, and the weather has been perfect for top down. Feels good to be back in an Alfa mindset!

Fuel injector Cleaning Results

Got the injectors back today

Was suspecting a problem with the #4 injector but was surprised that all of them were so awful.
