Been hunting a little "stumble" around 2K-2300 RPM for a while, no one riding could ever feel it but I could as the driver, mostly through the gas pedal, I suspect.
Anyway, I started with the usual suspect, a minor vacuum leak somewhere, couldn't find it with my stethoscope so I just replaced all the hose in the system with silicone hose ( for about 30 bucks by the way, not the 120 that some unscrupulous vendor sells his incomplete kit for) but it was still there, maybe improved but still there. Well, after getting a set of injectors back from Rich at Cruzin' Performance I replaced the injectors, plugs, and wires. Seems as though one of those was the issue. She sings like a sewing machine now and ready for my biannual headache of the dreaded CA smog check....

Today we participated in the Northern Alfa Romeo Spring Fling. I drove my 84 spider 215 miles today and it was a great time. We stop for a view at Uvas Reservoir, Lunch in Gilroy at the grove restaurant and had desserts in Gizdich in out of Soquel. Here are a couple of photos!

I hope you enjoyed the pictures as much as I did. The cars were great, the people are the best and the food was delicious. Two more photos from my car. My wife took them :-)

This morning I installed the Alfaholics aluminum calipers and new rotors on the rear. This evening I took a nice 60 mile cruise over some fine roads with no traffic......a good day indeed.

She was red and after further inspection, a,bit of a basket case. Rebuilt motor, new rockers, floor pan....i could go on forever. Today was her first day on the road, and all the work was worth it. Still needs some tweaking and a top, but what a blast to drive!
