Loose muffler 89 Spider

I am constantly taking my Spider to the local muffler shop for a loose muffler. They are kind enough to replace a bolt that comes out about every 2 months. It only costs me time, but time is money and it's starting to become a pain. I'm not a rough driver and try my best to avoid bad road spots, but you know how that is with the typical Alfa vibration. Does anyone know of a surefire way they've fixed the same problem on their Spider? Is it something the shop is missing, like a obscure Alfa problem like a special hanger / clamp, etc that may not be on "normal" cars? Any help is appreciated, especially since I am NOT a mechanic and have to arm myself with info before taking it anywhere for repairs.

the Muffler hangers come from the factory with two nut on them. One to tighten the hanger into place and the other to tighten against the first nut to keep it from coming loose. Double Nuting is very comon on Alfas to lock the nuts on.

Thanks for the info! The muffler has been a problem since it was replaced about a year ago.

It actually ended up being the resonator- it needed welding.
Good as new now.
