LOL the cinder block in my trunk was designed to *prevent* drifting. I guess we're all way ahead of our time...

Huh?
Drifting in California has a whole different meaning.
Drifting occurs mostly when the car becomes a distraction from the cellphone/book/magazine/makeup.... and a few other things I have seen stupid people doing here!

Speaking of the drifter crowd, I almost ran over a kid in a ricer Infinity last night with my F150 when he pulled out in front of me without even looking. When I pull up next to him I see that he is dialing the phone, has a TV going on the dash with the cubs game on, and his stereo is cranked so loud that he never even noticed me sitting right next to him at the stop light laying on the horn and flipping him off....kinda dissapointing really...

We can only hope Darwinism takes its natural course in times like this.

The call him GTVdrifter

All it takes is a rich sponsor with lots of tire money. Here is a photo of GTV Drifter at the Seattle track. Notice the full wheel lock and the turn being done deliberately to make smoke and to drift. Does it much better on a rainy track, and it doesn't use up tires so fast.

"], seriously Alfa diseased and ancient OLD Two Liter Lover, put together Seattle area's Northwest Alfa Romeo Club in 1965, and still feebly tries to tend a teeny sacred flame to his serpent mistress in the ALFA G'RAJ MAHAL, a home garage temple with more Alfa cars and parts than he dare list because of the disapproval of his shamed and chagrined family.
