The tach. seems to be inoperative. I disconnected it from the harness, (2 plugs) and connected another. The other one works so the problem is most likely in the tach. Question - does anyone know of a good repair service that has successfully rejuvinated an S3 tach? The last one I saw on EBAY went for well over $300.00. I can't. imagine that it could cost any where near that kind of money to fix one.
Thanks - Conrad
