Red face 73 Where does the car jack go in the trunk(boot)?

I was just wondering if anyone had a trunk pic. I have the jack, the wing nut, and the jack neck holder, but I have no idea where they all go??

Thanks again,
Frank

In our '84 it mounts in the compartment just forwards of the trunk itself. Pull down a flap (held in place by velcro) to access the compartment.

On a '74, it's the right side of the trunk (passenger side), just ahead of the tail light.
It's angled behind the antenna. You will see a thread stud. That is what the wing nut secures to.

What brianthegood says, except that your antenna might not be on that side. Mine is on the driver side. Apparently the antennae were installed by dealers, and there was no one specific place to put it.

Bad pic from my cell, blue 73 and red 72. (Not sure if either one is the original jack)

Thanks everyone! Thanks for the pictures RC Hiatt.
My antennae is on the passenger side, but on the front of the car!
I also have this holder for the top/neck of the jack which has two holes in it. I think it may not be from my car, but a later model where the jack is positioned just below the rear cowl.

AS my moniker states, I am the original and current owner of a 73 Spider (AR3041989 - 36 years and counting). The OEM jack does sit on the right side of the trunk, held in place by a wing nut and stud. The jack in the red car pictured above is the OEM '73 jack.

My 73 was made in 72, hence VIN: AR3041069. I may be asking you a few more questions regarding originality!
