Deleting selected private messages

There must be a way to delete selected PM's in your user CP. Can someone suggest a procedure?

I just go to one I want to delete and delete them???
to the right there is a BOX, then at the bottom you see Move to folder? go to delete.

You can bulk delete messages by clicking on the check boxes on the right side of the messages in list view (note the "check/select all" check box at the top of the list), then selecting "Delete" in the drop-down box at the lower right end of the page (shown below) and clicking on the "Go" button.
