Door hinge pins

Both my front doors have warn hinges (the door can be lifted and rocked a bit). Seems the pin on the bottom hinge is warn. Anyone know of a replacement for the pin or perhaps the entire hinge? Also, anyone selling spacers?

Thanks

Pics and specs (year) Fred. Early hinges are different from later. Some of the sites have replacement GT pins. I did that job on a 67 GTV; it was a bear.

Oh, yea. Forgot about that.. 73 Super lower hinge... seems the inside the door half of the hinge is welded to the door.

I'm working on just adjusting them now to compensate for the drop.

I also replaced hinges on a GTV... now it seems they sell new pins with brass bushings.

It's not, they are completely different from a GT or early hinges. No poly sleeves either.

Might be helpful to throw a few pics up so we can compare 'apples with apples' so to speak!

There are a few different types and cars can always get 'modified' as years go by.

Cheers.

Realigning the doors is a little more complicated than replacing the pins, yes? My own impression after several years of Giulia ownership is that it's quite satisfying when you finally figure out exactly how much of an upward boost you have to give the door for a crisp closure. If anyone has any advice on how to remedy the issue though...

Agreed. Door alignment on the super is difficult. Best advice is never to loosen the door hinge bolts! But I had the car completely apart when restoring it... plus the new door gaskets are way to big.

Care must be taken not to damage the paint when doing the adjustment.
