Yep, Solex carbs. Seller had just recently had them redone. Pretty on the outside at least.

Send me a PM if you're interested in my resto-photo gallery. I'll be driving my Super back up from FLA this spring to CT. Perhaps we can meet up.
PM sent, car looks great!

Todd, Very nice find and spectacular color combination! I'm the Gary up in Washington state who was this close to ending up with your '69 Super before you and your daughter had a little fender bender in L.A. leading to your decision to hold onto it. I've had my Super that was shipped over from Belgium since 2007.

Mono Vega wheels look great on the Berlina. These are perhaps the best looking period correct wheel for the AR.

Great looking Berlina Spirito. As tirefriar says, the MOMO Vega wheels certainly enhance the Berlinas. My 2L ute had Vegas fitted from day one. Here's an old photo of it.

Never seen a Berlina ute ... that looks amazing. What a cool car !!!

I'm 50/50 about the Vega's. They're on there already but I'm considering either TZ or Gta replica's as it's a little tight on the rear (courtesy of the Momo's et23 offset). But as mentioned the car's new to me so I'll have a good look at all the underpinnings before thinking about a change of wheel direction.

Grateful that there's a lot of insight and experience on these forums to draw from.

Spirits,
Nice car, congrats!

Was this car sold in sydney in the last year or two? I remember seeing a real nice red one come up.

What’s the story behind it?

Cheers,

Paul.

I bought it just before Xmas. Northern NSW (Tenterfield ... hence the pic outside Peter Allen Motor Inn). Originally a Singapore car, it came to Oz soon after and was in Qld for most of it's life. I'm the 4th owner. Good history/original straight car that had been resprayed/bodywork done.

I drove up to see it in person, and glad that I did.

The Vegas posted that we’re all polished looked really nice. Made it more subtle, less chunky imo then the blk/ silver. Prob could powder cost them chrome as well
Cool ute, was that an outback mod or did Alfa actually make this? Fun either way.

Re the Alfa Ute. We built this one from a 2000 Berlina that was crashed by a potential purchaser during a test drive in about 1977. It is based on the ones that A R used at their test facilities at Balocco, which I photographed on a trip there in 1975.
