Nice looking 1973 Giulia Super just hit Bring a Trailer. Has a 2.0 L engine and lowered suspension. Located outside of SF. Andrew do you know this car?

My 1973 Super 1.3 (now a 2lt) is up for sale on BAT. It's a great ride, the smoothest and most trouble-free of all 6 105's that I've had. I imported it from Europe in 2015, and enjoyed it thoroughly for the past 4 years. With the addition of the rear seat belts, it turned out to be our go-to classic for family outings. We now have a few too many cars and one of the alfas had to go.

I'm happy to answer any questions!

Has anybody looked at the blue TI in Sherman Oaks? Just curious; already got one. Seems like a good price if it is as presented. Photos show a couple of crude looking patches in the spare tire well, suggesting rust repair was done at some point.

Project TI including various Super parts in FL on ebay. Last I knew, some years ago, this car was a driver in VA. https://www.ebay.com/itm/25422935404...MakeTrack=true

Santino Balduzzi's former modified 72 Giulia Super is in Daly City, CA, and just hit BaT: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/19...iulia-super-4/

I am not sure if the car has been discussed here before, but this is a former article about it: A Real Balduzzi - Alex Fisher's '72 Alfa Giulia - DV Mechanics

Looks like a really fun car.

Wow, some of these prices are getting fantasmagorical. Some nice cars indeed but the tide is most definitely rising. Very nice Series 1 (65-67) Supers used to go for under Euro 15k ($18k) just in 2012. A very good Unficata (72-74) for Euro 8000. A Biscione (69-71) for not much more. Ask me how I know (bought 6, sold 3). And nearly half were 1600's. Now 1600'S are hardly even available with more Nuovas and 1300's crawling out from dusty barns. Rarely ever see early decent TI's for sale on Euro sites any more. Definitely evolving. Look back at some of my "audit" (11/2017, 01/2019) reports for stats. Of note the quantity available on AS24 is declining. Dunno why. And I see more coming out of hiding from Italy. It appears the glut from EuroClassix has subsided (they sold like 15+ in a couple of years) and we have a more normal market now. Thoughts?

PS: The number FS on benchmark AS24 declined form 39 in 11/2017 to 19 in 1/2019 with only 5% (2/1) being Series 1 1600's.

PSS: revised 2019 sheet to include prices at the expense of cutting off some description

I've got my fingers crossed on finding a good project Super preferably with hanging pedals but if if's and but's were candy and nuts we'd all have a great Christmas!

How much of a project and how much $$ and where from? I know those are all interrelated but it's nice to have a target. I scan a lot of sources. Lots has been showing up on Alfa Facebook sales (parts and cars) sites lately and misses the main sale sites.

rust on panels that can be replaced with new or fabricated small patches. Complete interior and exterior bits that are hard or impossible to locate. Good side and rear glass. Mechanicals shot. The deal breaker is a bent one. It has to be straight. Don't want to go above 10k but depends on condition.

Since you didn't say . . . WHERE . . . here's a small project beiga cava over maremma brown, 1974 Super (Unificata) 1300 in good condition except some small rust. In Belgium/Flanders. Could be RoRo'd out of Zeebrugge to the east coast (Baltimore or Atlanta) easily. Euro 6990 @ 1.12 lately = $7800, plus about $800 shipping on Wallenius. That's $8400. No interest in the car, dealer or seller.

Giulia 1300 super
6,990 - 8490

1974

Original paint, perfect working engine and gearbox. Only some bodywork work."

PS: I have no idea what the "- 8490" following the 6,990 is above. If that's dollars, it's at a rate of 1.21 with the current rate about 1.12.
