you can put the s-10 rear shift tower onto a mustang t5 w/c tranny, easy to do.. takes all of 15 min. most tranny shops will sell you the s-10 tail pretty cheap.

been a long time... but yes.. you bolt the plate to the bellhousing the the t5 to the plate.. had to think about that one..:)

yes you are right hans-peter but you are not useing a later t5 w/c box. you have an earlyer on, that used 80/140 gear oil, it has a bad rep. here in the states.. the v8 stangs' were low powered...

andy. i based the kit on a ford mustang unit.. easyer to come by.. ford put a hell of a lot more manuel trannys in there cars as compared to gm..yes it is a borg wanner tranny , cost 375.00 inlud,...

i have my t5 1 # down at the tranny and 2 # up at...

i have my t5 1 # down at the tranny and 2 # up at the diff. #= degree.. having drivin the car for a month now speeds up to 6500 rpm.. very smooth

hello, agian..if you saw the photos of the t5 in my car..don't fret.. i planed to use it this way..more rearward shifter location and a aluiumn driveshaft.. iif you use my kit with the right parts.....

lets see..more modern gearbox...easyer to rebuild( if needed) cheaper parts..all the syncro's and bearings to rebuild the t5 gearbox.. you can get full kits here for 95.00$ no second gear...

got the alum. driveshaft in the car.. now i am trying to set up the driveline angle, lots of fun:(,on my back, getting really dirty:mad:, measure shim it up bolt it up, check..rats.:mad:. do it...

anyone want to see the photos of my t5 in the car? but before i shock you, i am useing a more rearward shifter location.if you use the other shift tower ( i.e. ) s10, it will fit like stock.
