If it's not too rusty/ugly why not fix her up slowly as time and funds allow? Anything can be done with the engine and drivetrain. Rust issues are another story.

Dry is the method we used, all surfaces were clean and dry, did not seal. Next attempt I will be using Permatex "High Tack".

I am also of the mind set regarding "the next guy"
