I just went thru this same problem..sender is notorious for being unreliable..just to be safe, I checked things with a real mechanical gauge and then replaced the sender

gtv6 oil pressure woes

1985 GTV6..everything normal cold oil pressure at 75 until warm..then 50 at speed and 25 idle..after a week not run, cold oil pressure at 30 and backs off to near zero after warm..zero at idle ...
