When I mean RHD, that means we drive on the Right of the road, not like in OZ.

I’m not a vendor of parts, although I have access to many 147 here in Aust.
Your best bet may be shop4parts.co.uk or Autolusso in the UK

The VIN will let anybody look up the correct (original) part number on ePER in case they made any changes, or it’s a GTA/JTD?

Out of interest did Alfa sell cars in El Salvador, what’s the backstory?

Craig, Thank you for the links!

Alfas here, are a long story. It all started in the late 50's.

Really too long and not particularly interesting. Lots of racing though...

Hej Alberto

Those links are for UK racks, so they will be mainly RHD (same as Aust.) although both companies should be able to source LHD racks from the EU easy enough for you.

Would it be cheaper to box it up your original and send to a machine shop in Mexico/USA/Brazil... there’s nothing special about an Alfa steering rack that you won’t find on a Ford or VW

Best of luck, tell us how it works out

There a bunch of seals that need replacing. Beyond that, we can do the rest here.

Basically a rebuild kit and a T.O. bearing.

Email shop4parts, send them your VIN.
They have often sourced original parts for me not listed on their website, direct from Alfa in Italy using my VIN(s)

If it’s just a kit (and available from Alfa) it will be cheap to post !
Good luck
