Although Senior can be *****ly at times, he's dealing with Alfa owners who are persnickety too.

So we sometimes have to look at ourselves and ask maybe the owners are wacky at times difficult to deal with, as in we, ourselves and I.

I've had very good experiences with Larry Jr and Sr over the years.

As Larry buys parts cars, I wonder if he'll be interested in the recently-totaled Giulia Quadrafolio sedan?!

'75 Olandase Blu Alfetta Sedan 2.0 & '88 Red Milano Verde; both long gone and dearly missed

I don't talk politics with very many people but I make an exception with Sr. I usually begin the conversation by saying "this is your favorite pinko, commie, fag calling from East Texas" and go from there. It's fun banter, Oh, and btw I get what I want, when I need it, and at a fair price.
I'm glad he's still kicking

just talked to Larry. Meet him on his terms and he's fine. He's a hoot. Anyone have a driver's side inner door mechanism for a 72GTV? He thought he was out of them.

I spoke with Larry Sr. the other day and we have a go at it on the phone. Always a fun time with him. His son Alex is now working the phone and he sounds just like his dad. He knows a lot so don't be afraid to ask questions about parts etc.

I've known Larry Sr. for almost 30 years. Back when I was working on Alfas for a living in Atlanta. 20 years ago I started restoring mahogany boats. 10 years ago I started getting back into Alfas. I called him up for some parts and reintroduced myself. he remembered who I was and the shop I had worked for. So now when I call he answers the phone. Is this the wood boat guy in Georgia? Why do you want Alfa parts? I thought you worked on boats now? This leads into a least a 30 minute discussion on how we could fix the world.

He's a Great Guy.

I really like him - never met in person but we had a great conversation one day about Burman vs ZF steering box in the spider-- just fantastic, no candy-coating PC stuff, straight from the heart and brain. Would love to meet him in person some day!
