EBC Brake pads

Tengo que cambiar las pastillas de freno y he pensado en esta marca, tienen varios tipos de pastillas, cual creeis que es mas aconsejable para mi gtv6....las Rojas, las Amarillas o las Verdes

Yellowstuff - Serie 4000 "R"

Redstuff Ceramic - Serie 3000


Greenstuff - Serie 2000

Les puedes escribir a [email protected] y te comentan cuales son las más aconsejables dependiendo de coche, uso, etc

Ultimamente no veo más que problemas con esa marca, creo yo que, debido a las falsificaciones que están saliendo por internet, de ésto y de otras muchas cosas que no es fácil reconocer y menos en un monitor claro está.

Esta un poco paradete, si..... es que todo el mundo esta desparramado por 500 foros pequeños dedicados a los Alfa.... hay que centralizar, y no desparramarse por ahi!!

yo "de oídas" y sin haberlas probado, creo que las amarillas son para uso muy circuitero.. Alfaone las tiene puestas en su 75 américa, pero no las ha probado aún, intenta ponerte en contacto con él a ver si te pudiera aclarar algo, saludos!

Yepez, can only write in English, maybe Alvaro can help translating.

I would definitely recommend the yellow stuff for the GTV6 as I have used it for racing, where it was very effective. So presently we are using it on most of our cars for road also! Well we love this compund!

Have used Green stuff before, but it was nothing special with that, just that it did not make as much dust on the wheels as the original ones. Braking performance is definitely inferior to the yellow stuff.

Have not used the Red stuff, so I cant say, but its for racing, and needs time to heat up to work properly. Unsuitable for road use. Have not used in racing as we need good brakes even when the brakes are cold or its raining!

So Yellow is the one for a better perfomance, half street half race.

Now a little translation of what Gabor said (pequeña traducción de lo que ha dicho Gabor):
Amarillas, Rojas son muy racing y verdes algo mejor que las de serie, ensucian menos pero en definitiva no merecen la pena teniendo la opción de la amarilla.

Here a link to EBC shop. According to them the correct yellow stuff pad for GTV6 2.5 is DP4104R.

Aprovecho el post de Yepez para preguntar qué pastillas recomendáis para una Alfetta GTV, necesito poner las delanteras y buscaba supongo algo tirando a blando.
