I wish Jim!! I just don't know what is more difficult. To find the engine, to convince the owner to sell it, or to pay for it!

My dad suceeded recently to get hold of 8mm movie, made on that day when he and two other friends (from photos above) met on this closed road. Then they put a camera in the car on the right (also Autodelta GTA Junior, but with carbs instead of injection) and drove it at full throttle up the hill!

The video may not be the greatest quality....but the sound at 8.000 rpm. It is simply AMAZING, never heard anything like that before!!!!

1300 junior GTA

Just to throw more into the AUTODELTA special engines confusion they also made a 1300cc with single plug/16v in 1966 with +/- [email protected] rpm,s with webers. The 1300 junior GTA with the narrow valve angle head has a total of 47.1* between each valve on the 1969 designed head, 22.4* inlet /24.7* outlet. This information is taken from the reprinted drawings that came with my "ALLEGGIRITA" book by Tony Adrianensens. It also includes drawings that were made in 1973/1975 whereby the valve angles were closed up to a total of 40.30*.These are intitled "NOUVA VERSIONE" which means new version of the already narrow valve angle..Now the question is are these just drawings or were these NEW narrow valve heads produced?

The 1300 GTAj could have had a 1985cc engine installed, afterall it had been wide bodied. Happened to many of them.

And they look nothing like FIAT engines 😉
