You know you married the right girl when...

... she's willing to forego a new pair of jeans so her hubby can buy Alfa parts!

When you need to do repairs on your Alfa and she says "Go ahead, you have't spent that much money".
And, thanks for 40 years of marriage.

When she buys a new Mini Cooper S so that you can refer to the Alfas "the reliable cars."

When you still have your first car because after marrying her she told you to never sell that car. And then she becomes your biggest supporter when you decide to go vintage racing. And when she asks why you didn't make the garage bigger. (yes, she has two sisters but they are nothing like her...)

THAT'S MY GARAGE, ERIC! You nailed it! Complete with high ceiling.

What lucky men we are... ... and Irene has her heart set on a Stelvio, too. Even daughter Susy loves the Stelvio.

My life is complete. I have fathered and raised TWO Alfisti.

Congrats on the purchase and also the life partner choice.
I, too, have been fortunate.
At least 1/2 of my 14 or so guitars were bought by my wife for me.
When a cash windfall came around last year, the first thing she said was "you need to buy another Alfa. Of course, she loves them too.
We agree the new flooring for the house would come with the NEXT check. And it did...
I feel blessed.

25 years this year.
15 years ago on our 10th wedding anniversary,,Car or Eternity Ring ?
She chose the car.
Her 1976 Immaculate Red Alfa Romeo Spider Eternity ring is still in a box downstairs in the garage.
