New Spider!

Here is the 1982 Spider I just bought. The body appears to be in very good shape. I runs very well. First projects are to fix the seats and sort out sloppy steering. This is the first time Iíve posted a picture to the bb, so Iím not certain it will work.

The picture came through fine. Your Spider looks nice.

Sloppy steering can be worn parts (tie rod ends, suspension bushings, etc) or the steering box might need adjustment. Old tires &/or improper tire pressures will also affect the handling.

Definitely not keeping the leopard headrests. No doubt about that!

Thanks for the tips on the steering box! I’ll check it out.

It’s great to be a part of this community.

I am hopefully picking my 74 up today after having steering box out and rebuilt...will see how that worked out...it was a bit sloppy for last three years, but whenI drove it to Gulfport MS in october, during 4.5 hrs of rain , it was much pronounced...

the re build of the box here in Houston , was $425....Not sure what the R & R of it was yet .

Few more pics of silver Boat Tail with red Boat tail etc. Each exceptionally beautiful & unique. Red being very original & restored to OEM specs with everything functioning including the OEM SPICA mechanical Fuel injection, steel wheels with polished chrome hub caps, original seat belts and much more; silver tastefully restored.

Thanks for the compliments.
I am selling the Alfa Red 69 Boat tail. It is listed on Ebay as well as Hemmings, if you or anyone is interested.
I have too many cars in my Collection and would love the red Boat tail go to a good home.
It's true what they say about the acronym ALFA: Always Looking For Another.
Any questions please ask.
