Random thoughts:

Yes, we all know"right" from "wrong" but what is wrong in Riyadh is right in Rochefort. Therein lies the problem.

I live in a Southern California coastal community where residents and tourist alike walk the beachfront in bathing suits six months out of the year. It amuses the heck out of the residents when a tourist is heard loudly complaining about "all these naked bodies".

What happened to these people so that they think the human body is offensive?

Your 12-year-old daughter, does she go to gym class at school, watch television, goes to movies, look at magazines or view content on the Internet?

Alfas are one the most sensual mass-produced automobiles on the road. I worry about the irreparable harm that you might be doing to your daughter by exposing her to Alfas.

Not sure why this BB has this particular forum. Oh, right because Alfa, like all other car manufacturers since the being of time have used pretty women in suggestive poses to sell cars.

Maybe instead of trying for a “G” rating we should allow only “A” images. A post earns an “A” rating when it contains no more suggestive pose or exposes no more of the human anatomy than an Alfa advertisement published in the same year as the car was made. Shouldn’t show anyone smoking however. We all know it is bad.

The is enough of the internet wasted on porn, let's remain a classy place.

Actually I'd be happy if this thread was closed, as it has deviated from its original interesting purpose. Now we appear to be a bunch of adolescents

When grown adults are treated as adolescents this is what’s to be expected...

Getting back to nunki's post, I think there's some validation there. What are we really expecting with a thread called 'Women & Alfas?' Just do a google search on 'girls & cars' and you can quickly see this thread is much restrained from the general misogynistic pictures of sensual gals and cars. By its very nature (as nunki posted) sensually clothed women and cars have been a BIG part of the car advertising & general auto landscape for ages, especially Italian cars/Alfas. Sure, manufacturers have showed 'some' restraint, but third party suppliers have blown that apart, and then pile on the enthusiasts communities and we have some seriously questionable pictures. I'm not advocating for that, just saying what we have here on the AlfaBB (including my post that lit off this recent discussion) is rather very constrained in comparison.

As for the guy with his daughter... perhaps you need to exercise a bit of parental control if you are offended by these slightly questionable photos (and that judgement is really subjective IMHO).

Again, just my opinion. The moderators will do what they deem necessary. But in the meantime, I don't intend to target my posts to the pre-teen demographic.

It’s less about the photos and more about the derogatory comments, lack of respect and border-line abuse of the moderators. If you’re not capable of showing constraint looking at a photo then I second PSK’s suggestion. As always, the few spoil the party for the rest.

From a moderators POV that would be a welcome option. Self moderation will keep the thread alive. Any questions - go read post #1 of this thread.

I suggest discussion over - post appropriate photos instead.

That's right, Jay. To shed a bit more light on this, we are all guests in this forum. I, every Moderator and member, need to follow the rules set in place by the owner of this forum.

Hey guys, this is really simple stuff, just pay attention to the rules and everyone can benefit.

Funny, life is exactly the same, too bad a few people ruin it for the majority who know how to play in the sandbox.

Nice pic, stefmiesterb. I miss my Alfettas, though I do like my current GTV6. I hope to revert back to a flat Alfetta hood (using the 'laid over' 164 type plenum for my V6 at some point). Maybe even go back to the 4 rear taillights.
