Well thank YOU Sir! You are a gentleman and a scholar!

You might not be surprised that there were no hitch kits made for Alfa Spiders (at least none that I could find!)

Time to go sailing (or topless motoring...?) Hey! Let's do both!

Thanks. Reason I ask is it looks like one of my '69 Berlinas that I sold to SF which ended up in another state...

Circa '68 - my first Alfa

This is actually my Dad's Alfa, not truly my first one. But it IS the first car I ever drove, down Newport Blvd in League City, Texas, sitting in his lap. I can still feel the wood wheel in my little hands. No joke.

In 1986, while in college, I found an '80 Spider Veloce for sale in Ft. Worth, TX and talked him into letting me sell my boring Toyota Corona and buy it. Carburetors and all. I have no idea why that's funny, but I know every dude I tell that to gets a look on his face. Especially since I moved to California.

After a blond ditz with a little dog rear ended me on Sunset Blvd. totaling my precious companion, I collected a pittance and found a one year old '91 Spider Veloce less than a mile from my apartment that I have to this day.

This girl has loved and marketed Alfas pretty much her whole life of almost 50 years.

Thumbs up An Unintentional Alfisti

Noemi- A former friend of mine in Miami-

She never had the slightest inkling of ever owning an Alfa, in fact, she was driving a Mustang when this journey started.

A few days after I arrived in Miami with my Spider in 2002 I went to a local Alfa event and won a trophy. Noemi was starting to get the Alfa bug!

A few days later she bought her own Spider Veloce on E-bay! I had a "proper" shirt ready for her. This is literally within 2 minutes of her winning bid being accepted!

Picking up her new obsession at the depot where it was delivered.

A night out on the town

Time for maintenance! I taught her how to change the oil and filter.

Gotta double-check that oil level!

One of my favorite pics- that silver smudge on Noemi's nose is anti-seize. I just taught her how to change her spark plugs, and she managed to make a little mess...

Time for work is done- Now she has her own show winner!
