1990s Alfa SZ peeking out from behind a faux Lambo. Not injured per se, but unloved. (Found in a Japanese junkyard.)

That's not a faux Lambo, that's the real deal. It's a Lamborghini Silhouette; one of 54 built.

They say it is art, but this Alfa is very sad--

About the artist and his "fat car" art--

Probably an Alfa 33 that became a piece of art in 2001, see this page for more of Erwin Wurm's work.

20 year old alfas aren't worth saving!

There is a classic car restoration tv programme in the UK called flipping bangers the aim is to buy a £500 wreck and get it running do it up and sell for £1,000. This worked on Toyotas and Renaults but not on an Alfa . They tried everything they could spending £300 and many hours welding but in the end they had to admit defeat and scrap the car as unsafe and unsaveable,

The full sad story is at A+E - Blaze if you can open it

Or these are the before and after photos
