Velocemoto,

The photos never get old.

Your next home should be built around a glass garage, so you can enjoy that fresh off the truck beauty 24/7!

Red face My excellent Monterey Car Week adventure

This started very promising with a great drive at 2AM on HWY 1. My brother driving my '74 Spider, I'm in His '64 Giulia Spider Veloce.
Until 3:30AM when disaster struck. Tried to straddle a rock.

After scrounging a used sump from an Alfa club member, all good.

In the end, one of the best Monterey Car week trips, the '74 was a champ through very hot weather!

New sump on order from Classic Alfa, Those cracked ribs on the original bothered my at every oil change.

Yeah, I noticed your new sump, didn't realize it was the result of an accident. Thought you just wanted it perfect, like the rest of your car.

I had some chunks out of the old one, so I'll appreciate new every time I get under there.

Great tow truck driver. His right arm was chopped off at the shoulder, amazing to watch him quickly and carefully load the car. Then he drives that truck like an Alfa, we could barely keep up with him.

Busted mine on railroad tracks. Put the oil cap into the hood too. RR paid for the repair, was a wicked crossing.

I think all alfas have had their sump whacked at least once in their life.
One of the PO's of mine knocked the front right fins off of it, i'll give them credit though its a really clean job.

My barn find on the road.... '75

1975 S2 Spider. Two previous owners, had been sitting under a thick linen cover in a fully carpeted and sealed garage for 14 years.

Rescued Easter this year, recommissioned and on the road now.

Nice job collecting from the RR. I'm sure that took some effort.
