Modified 164

Richard Jemison snapped this picture of Al and Mel Mitchell with their 164 that they turned into a mobile chicken coop. Richard may want to add some descriptive details.

I expect that the engine went to a good cause - a Milano or a GTV6.

The 164 has finally found it`s proper place in automotive history!

The unit is a self contained coop and pen and can be pulled around to
keep chicks on good ground while fattening them up for their final use!

The pen can be lifted with the winch and tower for movement.

The engineering on the chicken hostel is every bit as good as the aumotive engineering that plagued the Alfa`s of this era.

Elio Zagato used the remains of old racing cars (TZ shells etc) as chicken coops on the roof of his factory, so this is just the latest example of a fine automotive tradition.

Why does a chicken coop have 2 doors? Because if it had 4 doors it'd be a chicken sedan!

1966 Giulia Sprint GT Veloce - pretty much finished!
Bunch of bikes too.
