I found my first Alfa Romeo (Carabo) today.......would have to be nearly 40 years old!

I've accumulated about 30 scale model cars over the past 20+ years...w/the exception of a handful of 1:43 scale models, the remainder are 1:18 scale 'die-cast' models. Sadly, I've only been able to purchase 1 Alfa that I like. The 'problem' is that many models of Alfas I've found look too much like 'toys', plus I prefer Race
Car scale-models...this 'combo' very hard to find!

Regards

I have a large number of Alfa toys and models. The attachment shows two Sprints from a Japanese manufacturer whose name escapes me at the moment. Interesting that the blue one is battery powered while the white one is friction motor powered. Note that the windshield frame on the blue car is installed upside down. I declined to correct that problem, not that I liked it, but that is the way it was when I bought it many, many years ago.

Other interesting toys and models include a GTZ made in Russia, a boxed 2 car F1 team with transporter(Polistoy) and 3 Dinky 158's.

@lgbalfa:

Where did you find the Series 4 Spider? Is it 1:18 scale? The red Spider is, except for the 'phone-dial-wheels, a replica of my S4...I'd really like to find one!

@lgbalfa:

Thanks for the tip. I checked it out & due to its so-so condition & nearly $60 price tag I'm going to keep looking. Thanks again for your help!

Hello, I would have a Spider S4 1/18 I would sell, due to place management necessities in my large Alfa miniature collection, whose rare models are shown on more than 100 pages now.

But as I guess you are in the USA, shipping cost from Europe might be a problem. Mint and boxed for 30 EUR + shipment.

Wooden it be nice...

Here's an attempt at a (very) semi scale GTV made out of glued up plywood. It's about 1:25. Purposely narrow to fit a 3 yr olds hand this Christmas.

Nicely done!

You should consider making copies and offering them for sale.
