Duetto origins

The idea started in the lat fifties / early sixties with show cars. I recall one of these Super Sports featured in a R&T classics article some years back.

too many?

Thanks all for indulging me in letting me post some of my favorite pics of Duettos for the archives.

Many of you will know these cars... a Biba restoration, and Willi's car...

Hi Derek,

I was just "Window Shopping / Looking" at some of these pics. I can`t believe you have`nt got a ton of "Wow`s" with the "E-Type"! I`ve owned 4 E-Types over the yrs. and would give anything to have a "Series I or II" E-Type again. My last acquisition was a "Titled `62" which was actually a "`61" with "Side Bonnet Locks, Flat Floor & Welded in Louvres" (VIN # 875190). That was about 5yrs ago.

Have fun with Both your Toys.

Hi Russ.
The Jag's nice, it belongs to a friend and he's kind enough to allow me to use it as and when as I do him with my Spider. It's a 1970 series I, it has plenty of grunt unlike my wee 1300 Junior!
Derek.

Great looking car Frank. I love the color and the wheels. It looks like a Euro model without the headrests etc.

Thanks for posting.
