our most active forum, lancisti.net , allows anyone to join, after the applicant has been accepted by the forum moderator, and we have some lmc members posting there regularly. it's good to have the diversity of members from other clubs, and makes a better experience for enthusiasts.
Has this been raised before by the ALC? If not, if an official request can be forthcoming I can bring it up formally at our next committee meeting.

I don't think so. Its a good idea, although its not quite clear the LMC gets as much as the ALC from this. But it makes sense...

The B12 took no offence, easy mistake to make, almost a quiz question, "Can you identify this Lancia!?"

Geoff, if you can chat the guys on the USA side, get a request by email to me, I can then raise at our meeting on the 24th March. Giving our dwindling numbers and the central raison d'etre of all Lancia clubs existence ie to promote the marque and engender close friendships with like minded folk, then it should be considered seriously by the LMC. I don't think it truly matters who would gain most but I think anyone involved would gain something!

Have sent the idea along. I suppose there is all sorts of fine print involved here, but overall, the idea is a good one - to share and pool limited resources...

agreed the lmc has a lot stronger following on their website. but in defense of the alc, there are quite a few members actively restoring or repairing their cars. i've personally seen several instances where good information could, and should have been shared.
i'm happy this is getting serious consideration.
i might have a bit of ulterior motive as well. being an appia consortium member i don't have a direct way to contact other consortium members. this would kill two birds as they say, as the primary outlet for consortium news is on the lmc forum.
