pazzo, it's hard to tell from the photos if your 'Montecarlo' has flared wheel arches. a true Montecarlo uses the S2 1600HF bodyshell, with flared steel wheel arches. if the car has standard wheel arches, it's a replica--not a true Montecarlo.

Ok that's good news. I will take some very close pictures of my wire so you can see. also I have a 70c fan swich in the radiator and the thersmostat is about 70 also. the temperature gage should go about little over 70. if it goes more then 80c is to hot. see the original thersmostat is 83c but when the car was brand new. now 36 years later you may want to keep it a round 70c. soon i will post some pictures. adan

AMAZING! I could not believe how strong that little 1300 was. That car better be a keeper. The only thing I didn't like is that you took it home I need to borrow it for the weekend to get a good idea of how the car really is.

yes I will came by in two weeks I will have some work done at your shop. and you can keep it after if fix a few days to drive it. no problem at all. the car I have do some small tricks. but they work. the car is getting better as I fix small things. to my suprise after 4000rpm it has a nice kick. it handles even at high speend it handles nice. see you in two weeks. here are some pictures of how the factory deliver the car.

These are totally cool cars! Where can I find one to buy? And I'm not necessarily looking for a Monte Carlo, but a nice stock one. They remind me of the old Nissan Silvia of the same era.

Does the front wheel drive inhibit its performance? Not a big fan of FWD.
