Dear touring 63 Mr.Bernhard,

Please, can you send me the complete list of spare parts for your Cisitalia 202 cabriolet?.
Did you find the numbers of telaio-motore?.
Best regards,

Have you contacted Cisitalia Club of North America ? Ed is a very good source for anything Cisitalia.

They are such great cars. I wish I would have bought a 202 Cabrio about 10 years ago when one was offered to me.

Oh well, I guess I will suffer with the Alfas.

Good luck!

In this article (in italian) of Auto e Moto d'Epoca, the author states that the 202 cabrio were built by Giovanni Battista "pinin" Farina and designed by Savonuzzi.

autoemoto54-58.pdf

I didn't know that Vignale built 202 as well.

Btw, why don't ask to the primary source? http://www.cisitalia.com/homeit.html

The 202 cabriolet of the article isn't Pininfarina. It's Stabilimenti Farina. It isn't the same.
The cabriolets were produced in this order: by Vignale, Stabilimenti Farina, and less frecuently by Pininfarina and Castagna.
You must read Cisitalia Balestra's book, page 121.
I saw the car in Uruguay at that time with the Vignale decals (stemmi).
If you read well the web page Cisitalia you can see that I am the consultant.
Do you think that I must consult to myself?.
Regards,
Prof. Dr. Sergio Lugo.

If there're two things that upset me, these are presumption and arrogance.
Sure not, you have not to consult yourself, although there's no blinking warning on the webpage that says "dott. Cisitalia of Alfa Romeo Bullettin Board, is our main consultant".
So please, Prof. Lugo, calm down with the terms, you are not as famous as John Lennon and i was just suggesting your website to Touring63.
The next time i will not do it for sure, with anyone.
So ask a consult to someone to look for more kindness.

Francesco

Ok, thanks.
So the specimen isn't a 202, but a 202B.

thanks dott.Cisitalia,
correctly.
there were reportedly only two cisitalia 202 with the special nardi - sport-manifold, which makes the car very rare.
the car come from factory in special-blue with gray interior and borrani.
is questionable whether the original Solex were assembled.
i also have in regal two reserve the red-color weber 36 SP 3 of my fiat coppa d´ oro still on.
best regards
bernhard
